"Up and Coming"
is a quartet who sings 4-part a cappella.
Up and Coming quartet are all members of the Durham Shores chorus, and got together as a quartet in 2016, in order to experience their love of barbershop more fully. "Being part of a quartet challenges us to new levels and we love to sing!" For two of the members, quarteting is a new experience, and the blend of their four voices is beautiful.

In the picture on the left, we have...
Lorraine, with 9 years experience, sings bass, which is the lowest part
Chuma, with 14 years, sings baritone, all the notes no one else wants ;)
Diane, with 14 years, sings tenor, which is the highest part, and
Raymonde, with 20 years, sings lead, the part most people recognize.
